5.2 Dragonborn Last Days

Writing our final blog I decided to talk about the fact that my character is a Dragonborn and investigate the responsibilities that are withheld to a person who could master the way of the voice. Part of my blog will be predicting how the game would would progress.

Apparently I would have to address the conflict between the Imperials and the Storm Clocks .the conflict seems to be growing and as it grows major cities would have to choose a side .the most familiar example is Whiterun as its Jarl haven’t yet sided with neither the Storm Clocks nor the Imperials. The cities located between Whindhelm and Solitude are the cities I could say are forced to pick a side .being a Dragonborn doesn’t seem to contribute to the conflict because when we had to visit the two parties none of them paid attention nor asked us about the fact that my character is a Dragonborn. I personally do not believe that a faction will defeat the other instead they will create boarders between each other and this is where the game will start matching our civilization.

The role of the dragon born I believe is defeating the dragon responsible for the emergence of the rest of the dragons .I am unable to state a specific name because we haven’t yet progressed that much in the game. I perceived this idea from the spread of spoken word and prophesies that claim it is the duty of a Dragonborn. I had the idea that I was the only Dragonborn who is assigned by the gods to save this world until two assassins tried to kill me. Later I investigated who was behind the assassination attempt .it appeared that there is another Dragonborn named Mirak with far more capabilities compared to me and I came to this deduced that because whenever I kill a dragon he now absorbs its power instead of me .so defeating him along with the dragon responsible of creating the smaller dragons will mark the end of my legacy as a Dragonborn.

5.1 The Way Of The Voice

After going through the 7000 steppes I reach the graybeards. I saw that this group that is formed of 4 members are living in isolation and through investigation I saw that they receive the necesery needs from the town downhill .also when I was on my way to the top of the mountain I saw many statues that contain some writings on them. One example, is the photo I attached where the statue states the story of men learning the voice from Paarthunax, who I believe is a dragon because the voice is the language of dragons. Kenerest is the goddess that Arnegier claim have taught mortals the way of the voice for the advancement of religion.

Arngeir approach to teaching me the dragon language was interesting. I Decided to include my language learning experience and compare it to what my character was exposed to. the Dragonborn learns the dragon language through first reading the word and then receiving some sort of power and at last  speaking , shouting.it is interesting because I can’t see how did the Dragonborn learn how to read the word in the first place knowing this language is new to him. What brought this thought to mind is our current community way of learning which is as I believe is beginning with listening like new borns. Let’s take for instance a German child raised in an English speaking family we could say that the German language is in his blood but he didn't get the sufficient exposure to this language.
